Resume Analysis 101What is Quinncia?
Quinncia – powered by Quinn is an AI-powered career readiness platform hosted by MSU Denver’s Classroom to Career (C2) Hub where students can optimize their resumes, practice mock interviews, and more. You can:
- Receive an AI-powered resume analysis to ensure your resume is ATS-optimized for job applications and make edits and improvements within the tool itself.
- Engage in mock interviews with questions tailored from your optimized resume, as well as personalized suggestions to improve your interviewing.
- Enhance your LinkedIn profile to ensure it matches your newly optimized resume in real-time using Quinncia’s browser extension.

Accessing Quinncia & Getting Started
- Click one of the buttons below to sign in, indicating whether you’re an undergraduate student or graduate student.
- Enter your university email address, click “Sign In Now” (do not click “Create Account” as you already have access through MSU Denver)
- A verification code will be sent to your university email
- Enter your full name and verification code, and complete any other information requested.
- Your account will be registered after you submit your information.
- After you register, the tool should automatically log you in, and you will need to activate your license to use the tool.
- Activate your license using the blue “activate license” button at the top of the page to start your resume upload, schedule an interview, and optimize your LinkedIn.
- Your account is now created! You can have your resume optimized as many times as you would like, and schedule a virtually unlimited amount of mock interviews. Note – 5 LinkedIn optimizations are allowed per year, per user.

- Log in and access your dashboard, activating your license if needed using the steps above.
- Navigate to the resume widget on your dashboard page and click Upload Resume.
- Upload your resume in PDF format.
- Note: Use a recently downloaded/exported PDF version of your resume to avoid file corruption.
- Your experience and education information will auto-populate in Quinncia. Edit/add any details in these sections.
- Share the industry you would like to break into.
- Note: Don’t stress too much if you don’t know! You can change this as many times as you want!
- Upload your resume.
- Review the score, improvements, and analysis provided by Quinn.
- Note: Quinn shows your score in comparison to other students at your university.
- Hover over the specific analysis or click the call out to see in-depth recommendations on how to improve your score.
- The analysis calculates your score based on three categories: generic, formatting, and content improvements.
- Review and implement the improvements you received on your resume analysis.
- Tip: After editing your resume, upload another version to see if you can increase your score!
- You can move on to the interview portion after completing your resume analysis.

- Log in and access your dashboard, activating your license if needed using the steps above.
- If you’re new to Quinncia, the system will prompt you to upload a PDF version of your resume. Refer to this article if you need help uploading your resume.
- Navigate to the Schedule Your Interview widget and click Schedule.
- Choose a date and time. You have to schedule at least 15 minutes in advance to ensure that you have time to set up and prepare.
- Receive an email in your inbox to confirm your interview time.
- Spend a few minutes practicing. Utilize the tips that we send in the email!
- You will receive an email to connect to your interview about 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Don’t be late!
- Follow the link to start your interview. You will have 2 minutes to complete the first questions and 90 seconds for every question after.

- Log in and access your dashboard, activating your license if needed using the steps above.
- Make sure you have uploaded a resume to the system
- Need Help Uploading your Resume? Click Here
- Scroll down to ‘Your LinkedIn Analysis’ and click on Upload New
- Choose either Upload your LinkedIn profile as a PDF or Use Quinncia extension
- If you choose the PDF option please follow the steps below. If you would like to install the extension please skip to step 11.
- Once you have downloaded your PDF from LinkedIn, please click on ‘Analyze PDF LinkedIn Profile’
- Drag or Drop or browse your computer for your LinkedIn PDF file
- Click on ‘Upload Linkedin Profile’
- After you complete a series of 5 questions your LinkedIn analysis will be ready for review.
- Click on ‘View Linkedin Analysis’
- To install the Quinncia extension, first click on ‘Click Here’ after expanding the guide.
- Once you have successfully installed the extension, click on ‘Go to LinkedIn to use Extension’
- Your LinkedIn profile should appear with the Quinncia logo located towards the bottom left-hand side of your screen.
- Click on the Quinncia Logo to start your review
- Click on ‘Start LinkedIn Analysis’
- Confirm your background and work experience by clicking ‘Proceed’
- Click on ‘Submit Analysis’
- Click on ‘Go to LinkedIn Analysis’
